|All you can eat tempura! $19.50 per person, July 14 - 17|
The recipe for tempura was introduced to Japan by Portuguese Jesuit missionaries particularly active in the city of Nagasaki also founded by the Portuguese.
Originally, tempura was a popular food eaten at street venders called yatai since the Genroku era. (1688 - 1704).
Today, tempura is still a popular side dish at home, and is frequently eaten as a topping at soba stands.
There is no doubt that the satisfying contrast between the texture of the crispy tempura batter and the ingredient inside is addictive.
