This event falls on the anniversary of the 2011 Tohoku disaster and $5 per ticket will be donated to the Living Dreams foundation supporting children orphaned by the tsunami.

Join Master of Cheese Will Studd and Kumo owner and Sake Master Andre Bishop for an evening of cheese and wine indulgence.

The fact that sake is a much better match with cheese than wine is a fact that is not widely known but is rapidly gaining ground. Join two experts in their field and discover why cheese and sake work so well together.

Will Studd is an Australian cheese specialist. Studd has been working with artisan and farmhouse cheeses for more than three decades, and has traveled extensively in his vocation. After establishing a chain of delicatessens in central London during the 1970s, he migrated to Melbourne, Australia, in 1981, where he has done much to promote a greater understanding of specialist cheese as well as championing the cause of traditional cheese made from raw milk.

Kumo owner Andre Bishop has been involved professionally with sake for 15 years and his passion for sake his recently earned him the hounorary title of Sake Samurai from the Japan Sake brewers Association. He is also a certified sake professional recognised by the Sake Education Council
