|Sake Master Vs Sommelier|
Sake professional Andre Bishop will battle off against award-winning sommelier Sally Humble to discover which is better – wine or sake. A jovial excuse to crack open the bottles, serve up some sake and, most importantly, feast on Kumo's izakaya fare.
This event could get lively and, like all things Kumo, will have a wealth of knowledge behind it but shouldn't be taken too seriously.
Who will win? Sally Humble, Kumo's front-of-house manager and sommelier, who has developed her skills at Cutler and Co. and Vue de Monde, or Andre Bishop, self-confessed sake geek and owner of Kumo, Nihonshu and Australia's largest sake menu.
There'll be plenty of opportunity for discussion and questions, as we explain wines, dishes, sakes and shochus, so join us for food, fun and frolics and pick up some knowledge along the way.
When: 19 March, 6:30PM - 11:00PM
Cost: $150.00 includes sake, wines, shochus and izakaya fare
Bookings: 03 9388 1505
