|Summer of Sake|
To help you enjoy the summer of sake, Kumo is now open for Happy Hour! We will be opening our doors from 5pm, and until 6pm enjoy our drink specials: $5 beer, wine, sake and $10 cocktails. To help with after-work munchies, we will have our full bar snack menu filled with tasty Izakaya treats to enjoy with your drink specials.
We suggest whilst you are sipping your ice-cold beer or a cool, crisp sake, nibble on pan-fried pork gyoza and chicken yakitori.
|Sake Master vs Sommelier|
The Melbourne International Food & Wine Festival is nearly upon us. We still have tickets available for our signature event "Sake Master vs Sommelier". Kumo founder and sake professional Andre Bishop will go head-to-head against resident Kumo sommelier Sally Humble to find out who reigns supreme: sake or wine?
Kumo head chefs Akimi Iguchi and Eriko Hamabe will present a sumptuous Kumo degustation menu, whilst Andre and Sally will be introducing sake and wine to match each dish. Diners will also have their say, placing their votes to decide who is victorious!
